Contact bleeding usually takes a few days

Contact bleeding usually stops on its own in 2-3 days, but patients must go to hospital gynecological examination in time to find the cause. Contact bleeding is an abnormal clinical phenomenon for women and is a sign of precancerous cervical cancer. There are many reasons for contact bleeding, such as vaginal bleeding or blood in the leukorrhea caused by sexual intercourse or gynecological examination with a speculum or by touching the cervix. Contact bleeding often occurs in women with cervical erosion, cervical polyps or cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer. Therefore the clinical significance of contact bleeding is to rule out the possibility of cervical epithelial lesions and cervical cancer. It is recommended that women who have contact bleeding pay attention to it and visit the hospital gynecology department in time to confirm contact bleeding due to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer by TCT and HPV screening. If it is cervical polyp contact bleeding, polypectomy can be performed. If it is cervical cancer, surgery or radiation therapy should be decided according to the stage.
