There are several possible scenarios for waking up in the right direction: 1. Maybe the patient has some REM sleep disorder. Normal people have very low muscle tone during the REM sleep period and are not able to make any activity. The patient with this type of disease has muscle strength during this period, so he or she will make relevant movements with the dream state, and may be able to adjust 1 position when waking up. 2. It is possible that the patient has a sleepwalking condition. For example, if the patient gets up first when sleepwalking, and later during the process of lying in bed, the alignment of head and foot positions may occur.
