Acupuncture treatment for knee pain is common in clinical practice and is mostly caused by various joint injuries, infections, degenerative changes and so on. For pain caused by cold and degenerative changes, acupuncture treatment is effective immediately. Several treatment methods are commonly used clinically as follows: Method 1: Small bone hollow pressure method Take a 4x4cm adhesive tape and place a magnetic bead or Wang Bu Liuxing in it for backup. Press with a matchstick or special pressure stick near the affected small bone hollow point (located in the center of the first finger joint on the dorsal side of the little finger), find the pressure point, then put the magnetic bead or Wang Bu Liuxing on it, and then press with your hand for 1-2 minutes with the intensity tolerated by the patient. The patient is instructed to move the affected knee while the pressure is applied. This method is most effective for knee pain and coldness. Method 2: Cross-meridian giant stab method Depending on the location of the pain in the affected knee, take the points of Quchi, Shouze, Tianjing and Xiaohai on the opposite side of the elbow. After obtaining the qi, apply the twisting and turning diarrhea method until the pain in the affected area is reduced or disappears, and keep the needle for 30 minutes. Method 3: Acupuncture at Neiguan point Take the affected side of Neiguan point, and after obtaining Qi, continue to slowly twist the needle, while asking the patient to move the affected knee or press the affected area with the hand, and keep the needle for 20 minutes after the pain is relieved or disappears. Method 4: Anointing point cupping method Take the anointing point on the affected side of the back, press it with the thumb, find the pressure pain point, puncture it with a trigeminal needle several times or use a skin needle to tap and bleed, then add cupping, and keep the cupping for 10 minutes. After cupping out the blood stasis, often several years of disease, immediately see a lighter. Method 5: Localized cupping method Find a blue vein in the painful part of the knee joint, and after puncturing with a trigeminal needle, bleed like a bean, then add cupping. To prevent leakage, apply ultrasonic coupling agent at the mouth of the jar. Leave the can for 10 minutes. If there is no vein, the pressure point can be tapped with a skin needle and then cupped. This method is effective for long term pain and sprains. Method 6: The patient is placed in a prone position and plastic paper, grass paper or cotton wool is placed under the affected knee. If there is an angry vein near the middle of the committee, puncture it with a trigeminal needle and let the blood flow out, starting with dark purple and gradually changing to light red, and then stopping. To 75% alcohol cotton ball wipe off the dirty blood. Method 7 abdominal sensitive point needling method Patients with knee pain can have obvious sensitive points at the 4th segment of the rectus abdominis muscle, and most of them are obvious on the affected side. Patients take supine position, with the thumb in their abdomen to find the sensitive point, with 1.5 inch needle slowly stabbed into, after getting gas retained needles for 30 minutes. The above methods, according to clinical needs, can be applied alone, or combined.
