Left-sided abdominal pain in men is generally associated with left-sided urinary tract disorders, intestinal disorders and reproductive disorders. Examples include left-sided ureteral stones and ureteritis; sigmoiditis and some colorectal tumours; and left lower abdominal involvement pain due to inflammation of the left testicle and epididymis. In conclusion, the etiology of left abdominal pain in men is complex and needs to be judged comprehensively by understanding the degree, nature, duration, persistent or episodic, limited or radiating, and accompanying symptoms of the pain.
