What are the signs of HIV infection in women?

Women infected with HIV can be categorized into acute infection period, asymptomatic period and AIDS period according to their symptoms. 1. Acute infection period: 1~2 weeks after exposure to HIV, which may be manifested by unexplained fever, fatigue, sore throat, rash, and generalized lymph node enlargement, and the above symptoms may subside within one month. 2. Asymptomatic stage: no clinical symptoms, or only swollen lymph nodes, as short as a few months, up to 20 years, an average of 8 to 10 years. 3. AIDS stage: persistent fever, diarrhea, generalized lymph node enlargement, weight loss, accompanied by various opportunistic infections and tumors. If there is no treatment to enter the AIDS stage, the average survival period is 12~18 months.
