Ginger water is not generally used in baths and does not have medicinal properties.
Ginger is the fresh rhizome of ginger, family Zingiberaceae, pungent and slightly warm in nature. It belongs to the lung, spleen and stomach meridians, and has the effects of relieving surface cold (removing cold from the muscle surface), warming and stopping vomiting (treating vomiting caused by stomach cold by warming the spleen and stomach), resolving phlegm and relieving cough, and resolving fish and crab poisoning.
Clinically, it is often used in treating wind-cold cold, cold stomach and vomiting, cold phlegm and cough, and fish and crab poisoning. Caution should be taken when there is deficiency of yin and solid heat inside.
The effect of boiling ginger in the bath is not clear, and it is not recommended to use it blindly. If there is a need for treatment, please consult a doctor and take medication under the guidance of a professional physician.
