Pain in the throat near the clavicle may have the following diseases: i. Reflux laryngitis, in which gastric juice and other digestive juices reflux into the throat, damaging the mucous membrane of the throat and causing the patient to experience throat discomfort such as dry throat and sore throat. Second, inflammatory diseases of the thyroid gland, commonly known as subacute thyroiditis, manifesting as painful discomfort in the throat near the clavicle. Inflammatory diseases of the hypopharynx, commonly known as inflammatory edema of the hypopharynx, can also cause discomfort. Fourth, foreign bodies in the hypopharynx or esophagus, lodge in the local mucosa, resulting in pain and discomfort. Patients with discomfort are recommended to go to ENT, gastroenterology and general surgery for systematic and comprehensive examination to exclude the possibility of related diseases.
