Site of onset of sinusitis

The onset of sinusitis generally refers to the normal four anatomical sinus cavities of the sinuses, mainly the maxillary sinus, sieve sinus, frontal sinus and butterfly sinus, located on both sides. The maxillary sinus is located in the lower part of the orbit, the septal sinus is located below the base of the skull between the two orbits, the frontal sinus is located in the middle of the two orbits above the frontal head, and the pterygoid sinus is located deeper, behind the septal sinus and below the lower pituitary in the middle of the brain. Symptoms of sinusitis occur when there is swelling and inflammatory exudation of the sinus mucosa in these areas. Symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal obstruction, and headache may occur.
