Acute cerebral embolism has an acute onset, high morbidity, high disability and high mortality rate, and can lead to different degrees of neurological deficit symptoms and even to death. Thrombolytic therapy has been proven to be the most effective treatment modality, and there are generally two types of thrombolytic drugs commonly used. First, rtPA. generally within 4.5 hours of onset, after excluding the relevant contraindications, rtPA intravenous thrombolysis can be selected, the general dose is 0.9mg/kg, the maximum dose does not exceed 90mg, and the cost is roughly 5,000-10,000 yuan. When the patient is within 4.5-8 hours of onset, rtPA arterial thrombolysis can also be given at 1/3 the amount of intravenous thrombolysis, at an approximate cost of RMB 10,000-20,000. About 2/3 of patients can benefit from thrombolysis. Second, urokinase. When the onset is within 6 hours, urokinase can be given 1-1.5 million units intravenously at a cost of about$1000. Since intravenous thrombolysis has certain complications such as cerebral hemorrhage and gastrointestinal bleeding, patients must be strictly screened before application.
