Patients with qi and blood deficiency and uterine cold may have symptoms such as dysmenorrhea and cold extremities (cold extremities, even to the elbows and above the knees), which can be regulated through diet, taking Chinese medicine and moxibustion.

2. Traditional Chinese medicine: patients with insufficient qi and blood and uterine cold can take traditional Chinese medicines such as Ai Fu Warming the Uterus Pill, Motherwort Granules, Colla Corii Asini Oral Liquid for Blood Replenishment, Shao Abdominal Blood Stasis Relieving Soup, Wen Jing Tang, and so on. Pregnant women should not take Ai Fu Warming the Uterus Pill and Motherwort Granules; Ajiao Oral Liquid for Nourishing Blood should not be used for those who have distension and pain in the epigastrium (stomach and abdomen), have difficulty in eating and have bloating and loose stools (thin, unformed stools).
Dampness-heat patients, those with heat in yin deficiency should be cautious and pregnant women should not take Shaobastric Blood Stasis Relieving Soup; the adverse effects and contraindications of Wenjing Tang are not clear.
3. Moxibustion: Moxibustion has the effect of warming the menstruation, dispersing cold, eliminating blood stasis and dispersing lumps, so it can be used for treating patients with deficiency of qi and blood and uterine cold, and moxibustion can be used on the Foot Sanli point, Sanyinjiao point and Zhongkou point.
Foot Sanli point is located in the front lateral calf, when the calf nose 3 inches below, from the front edge of the tibia a cross finger; Sanyinjiao in the high point of the inner ankle straight up 3 inches, when the inner side of the tibia side of the posterior edge; in the epigastric region is located in the upper abdomen, the front of the midline, when the umbilicus in the upper 4 inches.
