How to treat numbness in the right hand and arm

Numbness of the right hand and right arm has different treatments for different causes, including general treatment, medication and surgery.
1. Physiological reasons: If the right hand and right arm have been subjected to long-term pressure, it will lead to physiological numbness, which can be recovered with proper rest or massage.
2. Pathological causes
(1) Cervical spondylosis: for example, cervical disc herniation, cervical spondylolisthesis, etc. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. celecoxib) can be taken for the symptoms of pain, and surgical treatment can be taken in serious cases. Normally, we should pay attention to rest, try not to make the cervical spine overweight, and can exercise the neck muscles appropriately.
(2) Peripheral neuritis: that is, lesions of the nerves controlling the right hand and right arm, which can be caused by diabetes, rheumatism and so on.
Treatment of the primary disease is the mainstay, while neurotrophic support is provided. For example, take drugs such as acarbose and metformin to treat diabetes, methotrexate and cyclopamine to treat rheumatism, and neurotrophic drugs (such as methylcobalamin) for neurotrophic support.
If there is long-term numbness of the right hand and right arm, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to identify the cause of the disease and then carry out targeted treatment. The above drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
