What does repeated swelling of the inguinal lymph nodes mean?

Recurrent swelling of inguinal lymph nodes may be related to chronic lymphadenitis, tuberculous lymphadenitis and malignant lymphoma or other tumors. 1. Chronic lymphadenitis may cause recurrent swelling of inguinal lymph nodes, which is usually accompanied by localized mild pain and tenderness, and the scope of swelling is usually relatively small. 2. Tuberculous lymphadenitis is caused by the adhesion of lymph nodes due to the infection of tuberculosis bacillus, resulting in poor mobility of lymph nodes, which will also lead to recurrent swelling of inguinal lymph nodes. 3. Malignant lymphoma or other tumors can metastasize to the inguinal lymph node region resulting in enlargement. The enlarged lymph nodes are usually painless and can be further diagnosed by pathologic biopsy. When the inguinal lymph nodes are enlarged repeatedly, it is recommended to consult a doctor to find out the cause of the disease and treat it as soon as possible.
