The disease was first described by Bloodgood in 1922 and noted by Semb in 1928 as simple adenofibromatosis with breast pain and lumps. It was called mastodynia in 1948. It has been used until now. 1.Breast cancer: Some breast cancers can have similar manifestations as hyperplasia, but the lump of breast cancer is mostly unilateral, the lump is fixed and has a tendency to grow. It may show enlargement in the change of menstrual cycle without the tendency of shrinking. Needle aspiration can make a clear diagnosis. 2.Fat necrosis of the breast: This disease occurs in women who are more obese after trauma. The lumps are superficial and do not penetrate deeply into the breast parenchyma, and the lumps do not change with the menstrual cycle. Needle aspiration cytology and tissue biopsy can clarify the diagnosis.
