Oseltamivir or ribavirin for swollen mesenteric lymph nodes in children

Enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes in children can be caused by physiologic factors, but also by respiratory infections, gastroenteritis and other pathologic factors. You can take oseltamivir if it is caused by influenza virus and ribavirin if it is caused by respiratory syncytial virus. Oseltamivir is used for the treatment of influenza A or B, as well as for prophylaxis. Adverse reactions to this product can be seen as vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, dizziness, weakness, and bronchitis. It is contraindicated in people who are allergic to any of the components of this product. Ribavirin is indicated for viral bronchitis or pneumonia caused by respiratory syncytial virus, and cutaneous herpesvirus infections. The visible adverse effects of this product include anemia, weakness, fatigue, insomnia, headache, loss of appetite, mild diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and constipation. The drug is contraindicated in pregnant women, those who are allergic to the product. Children with enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes need to be reasonably used under the guidance of a doctor.
