What medication to take after dental implant surgery

After the dental implant surgery can take anti-inflammatory swelling and pain medication, generally including amoxicillin, metronidazole and ibuprofen and other drugs.
1. Amoxicillin: a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum penicillin drug, which has effective bactericidal inhibition on most pathogenic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria; and there are certain gram-positive bacteria in the oral cavity, so taking amoxicillin after dental transplantation can effectively prevent and control related bacterial infections.
2. Metronidazole: mainly used for the treatment of anaerobic infections, and there are anaerobic bacteria in the oral environment, taking metronidazole after dental transplantation can avoid anaerobic infections and pain and other symptoms.
3. Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen belongs to the antipyretic and analgesic class, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; it can be used for environmental headache, neuralgia, muscular pain, arthralgia and toothache, etc.; therefore, it can be used for the treatment of wound pain and other symptoms after dental implant surgery.
