It is possible to get pregnant even after a fresh period, depending on the length of the woman’s menstrual cycle. If the menstrual cycle is relatively short, reaching 23-25 days, or in some cases more than 20 days, the day of ovulation will be early. If the menstrual cycle is 7 days, just after the menstrual period which is the 7th-8th day of menstruation, if the ovulation day is not more than 3 days on the 10th or 11th day, then the sperm and egg will have the chance to fertilize and form an embryo, so that pregnancy can occur. If the menstrual cycle is long, reaching more than 30 days, it is still relatively unlikely to get pregnant when you have just had your period, but it is not possible to exclude cases of accidental ovulation of residual eggs. In our clinical work, we often encounter women who get pregnant with a safe period contraceptive, which is probably related to miscalculation or impromptu ovulation.
