The criteria for healing of rib fracture deformity include the following: 1. No local pressure pain and percussion pain. The main criteria are the disappearance of pressure pain at the injured fracture site, the absence of obvious pain when squeezing, and the disappearance of pain when coughing and deep breathing, which do not affect normal respiratory function. 2. No abnormal activity at the fracture site. When pressing the bone or taking a deep breath, no bone rubbing sensation or abnormal activity can be touched.3. There is continuous bone scab at the fracture on imaging, the fracture line has disappeared vaguely, and there is obvious deformity at the fracture, and the continuous bone scab is relatively large, which is a more important indicator.4. It does not affect normal exercise, especially strenuous exercise, that is, during normal strenuous exercise, the chest has no obvious pain, displacement, and no deformation at the fracture for two weeks of continuous observation. Whether it is a deformed healing or a healing with better alignment, it is a functional healing and does not affect the normal function.
