What causes pimples under the chin

Acne under the chin, usually mainly acne, is mainly related to abnormal androgen levels, hypersecretion of sebaceous glands, hyperkeratosis of hair follicle epithelium, and bacterial infections.
1. Abnormal androgen levels: For example, after puberty, due to endocrine metabolism disorders in the human body, androgen levels increase, stimulating sebaceous glands to secrete more, which may induce acne.
2. Hypersecretion of sebaceous glands: If you have a poor diet and irregular work and rest, it will easily lead to endocrine disorders, which will cause hypersecretion of sebaceous glands, and the excess oil will be too late to be excreted, and then clogged in the pores, resulting in acne.
3. Hyperkeratosis of the follicular epithelium: If the follicular epithelium is abnormally keratinized, the pores will be narrowed or even clogged, resulting in poor excretion of oil and secretions, which will also cause acne.
4. Bacterial infection: Propionibacterium acnes infection is common, which stimulates the proliferation and hyperkeratosis of keratinocytes at the follicle ducts, the latter blocking sebum excretion, and acne is formed when sebum and keratin plugs accumulate at the mouth of the hair follicle.
If the symptoms of acne under the chin do not get better, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time.
