The generic name for Polivir is clopidogrel, and aspirin enteric-coated tablets and clopidogrel are routinely taken after stenting. Two antiplatelet drugs should be taken orally within one year after stenting, aiming at strengthening the inhibitory effect on platelets, preventing platelets from aggregating in the stent inside the blood vessel, and preventing the occurrence of restenosis in the stent. Aspirin exerts its platelet inhibitory effect mainly by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase, and clopidogrel’s main effect is to inhibit the adenosine diphosphate receptor. Both aspirin and clopidogrel need to be taken orally for one year after stenting. Adverse effects of aspirin and clopidogrel are mainly bleeding, skin mucous membrane more bleeding is common, some patients can appear digestive tract, brain bleeding. Drug allergy, severe liver damage, the presence of active pathologic bleeding such as peptic ulcer or intracranial bleeding patients are prohibited.
