What are the seven sections of the cervical spine?

The cervical spine has seven cervical vertebrae, one more prominent than the other, of which the more specialized ones are the first, the second and the seventh cervical vertebrae. The first cervical vertebra is special in that it has no vertebral body, the second cervical vertebra is special in that it has a notochord, and the seventh cervical vertebra has a longer spinous process. It is precisely because of the longer spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra that it can be better localized, and it is the seventh cervical vertebra that protrudes the most when the head is bowed. In clinical practice, other cervical vertebrae are also localized through the seventh cervical vertebrae. The cervical vertebrae is the part that connects the body and the head, and is of great importance to the human body. If the cervical spine becomes diseased it may cause uncomfortable symptoms in the head, such as headaches, dizziness, and head swelling. Headache and dizziness can be treated through acupuncture treatment as well as acupressure treatment to unblock the meridians and qi and blood.
