How to return to training after cruciate ligament surgery

Cruciate ligament can be carried out quadriceps isometric exercises, straight leg raising training, active activity training, knee extension and knee flexion training.
1. Quadriceps isometric exercises: inform the patient of the feeling of standing on tiptoe, let the patient step down hard with both legs together, observe the obvious movement of quadriceps and patella, contract the anterior thigh muscles with force and then relax, if there is obvious pain, the training can be postponed.
2. Straight leg raising training: the patient should lie flat on the bed, straighten the knee to lift off the bed, repeat the action.
3. Active activity training: for hip joint adduction, the patient should lie on the affected side, step on the bed with the healthy leg, and lift the affected leg up to do the adduction training; for hip joint abduction, the patient should turn to the healthy side and straighten the healthy leg; for hip joint extension, the patient should lie on the prone position, and straighten the affected leg to lift it upward.
4. Knee extension and knee flexion exercises: knee extension training is very important. Patients should start training every day after surgery, with a pillow under the heel, adjusting the training measures according to the patient’s knee extension; knee flexion training, bending the knee in prone position, or closing the leg backward in sitting position.
Rehabilitation exercises after cruciate cruciate ligament surgery are recommended to be carried out under the guidance of doctors and therapists, do not train on your own to avoid injury.
