What are the effects and contraindications of Poria yam

Poria cocos has the effects of promoting water retention and eliminating edema (facilitating urination and eliminating water retention), seeping dampness to strengthen the spleen, and tranquilizing the heart. It is used for treating edema, diarrhea due to spleen deficiency (diarrhea caused by weakness of the spleen), palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), and insomnia. Contraindications are unclear. Yam has the effects of benefiting qi and nourishing yin (tonifying qi and yin fluid), tonifying the spleen, lungs and kidneys, fixing essence and stopping the band. It is used for treating spleen deficiency with little food, lung deficiency with cough, kidney deficiency with spermatorrhea, dysuria, internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by excessive eating, drinking and urination). Contraindications are not clear.
