Sodium-Potassium Dextrose Injection is a compounded preparation whose main components are sodium lactate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and dextrose. It can be replenished when the circulating blood volume and tissue fluid in the body are reduced, and it also has a corrective effect on electrolyte disorders and acidosis. It is mainly used to replenish the water and electrolytes of post-surgical patients, and can also be used to replenish the water as well as electrolytes of infants and children after surgery. However, it should be noted that not all patients are suitable, renal insufficiency, cardiac insufficiency, patients with severe hepatic insufficiency, hyperlactatemia, hyperkalemia, diabetes mellitus, urinary tract obstruction caused by decreased urine output, after the use of the water, electrolyte excess may cause symptoms to worsen, so these patients are prohibited from using the drug.
