Typical hospitalization days for minimally invasive varicose vein surgery

Minimally invasive varicose vein surgery can usually be discharged from the hospital in 1~2 days, and can be done on an outpatient basis without hospitalization if the condition is mild.
Varicose veins are tortuous and dilated veins adjacent to the surface of the skin, most commonly found in the legs and ankles, which are mainly characterized by dark blue, swollen and twisted subcutaneous veins, mild patients do not have any symptoms, and those with mild symptoms are treated conservatively by wearing compression stockings.
Minimally invasive surgery for varicose veins is usually radiofrequency, laser, sclerotherapy, microwave therapy and other surgical procedures, usually hospitalized for 1 to 2 days and can be discharged. Patients with more severe varicose veins cannot undergo minimally invasive treatment and have to resort to traditional surgery of high ligation and stripping, which usually requires about three days of hospitalization.
It is recommended to go to regular hospitals for consultation and treatment, choose the appropriate treatment method according to the severity of the disease, pay attention to diet after discharge, and contact the doctor in time if there is any abnormality.
