Cardiac enhancement CT is mainly used to check the coronary arteries of the heart, and it is usually needed in the case of heart-related discomfort symptoms, suspicion of heart or blood vessel problems after examination, and postoperative examination, etc. The details are analyzed as follows:
1. The appearance of heart-related discomfort symptoms: if the patient has choking sensation, pallor, severe chest pain, cyanosis of lips and mouth, chest tightness and shortness of breath and other discomfort symptoms, need to do cardiac enhancement CT.
2. Existence of heart or blood vessel problems: if the patient suspects the existence of problems in the heart area after systematic examination, such as coronary artery stenosis, pericardial effusion, heart disease, coronary artery disease and so on, he/she needs to have cardiac enhancement CT.
3. Post-operative examination: If the patient undergoes coronary artery bypass surgery or other surgeries on the heart and blood vessels, he/she needs to undergo cardiac enhancement CT to check his/her condition after the surgery.
It is recommended that the patient should consult a doctor in time when his heart is not feeling well, and choose whether or not to have a cardiac enhancement CT under the guidance of the doctor’s prescription.
