If the patient is suffering from mild otitis, you may try to apply it for three days. If the patient’s ear inflammation is particularly serious, the medication will generally work only after 5-7 days. It is best to use saline to cleanse the secretions inside the ears before using the medication, and use ear drops after cleaning them up, so that the medication can fully contact the inflamed mucosa and reduce the inflammatory response. If the condition does not improve within a week or so after the medication is administered, the patient needs to go to the hospital for further examination.
