Ovarian Cancer Grades

Ovarian cancer is categorized into stage Ⅰ, stage Ⅱ, stage Ⅲ and stage Ⅳ. 1. Stage I: Stage I ovarian cancer belongs to early stage, the tumor is confined to ovary and does not show metastasis to other parts. 2. Stage II: Stage II ovarian cancer belongs to the middle stage, and the tumor may spread to the pelvis, such as uterus and fallopian tube. 3. Stage III: Stage III ovarian cancer belongs to the middle and late stages, and microscopic examination confirms that the tumor has abdominal metastasis outside the pelvis, and local lymph node metastasis may also occur. 4. Stage IV: Stage IV ovarian cancer belongs to the advanced stage, and distant metastasis will occur, and cancer cells may be found in liver, lung, brain, bone and other parts of the body.
