Xinkang Isosorbide Mononitrate Tablets, can be used for the treatment of coronary heart disease as well as angina prophylaxis and treatment of persistent angina after myocardial infarction. When used in combination with digitalis and diuretics it can treat chronic congestive heart failure. Adverse side effects may occur during administration, including angina pectoris headache, most of which usually disappear after several days of administration, facial flushing, vertigo, upright hypotension and reflex tachycardia, and occasionally a significant drop in blood pressure, bradycardia, increased angina pectoris or syncope.
