The sooner male pattern baldness is treated, the better the results

There is a typical hair loss patient Xiao Wang, he found his hair loss problem is in a company arranged a group dating activities, obviously after 80 Xiao Wang froze repeatedly identified as 70 years old young people, so Xiao Wang suddenly feel like an old face. Since then, the previous more lively, cheerful personality of Wang, now not only do not love to talk, even friends of the party is not willing to participate, stay at home, full of sad face. He told me that he was very confused for a while, just like having cancer, he was very afraid and didn’t know what to do. After examination, Xiao Wang was diagnosed with male pattern baldness, which is the most common clinical hair loss disease, accounting for about 85% of all hair loss patients seen, and research data shows that about one-fifth of men in China are afflicted with male pattern baldness. In recent years, with changes in the social environment, its incidence has increased significantly, and the age of onset tends to be younger. There are more and more young hair loss patients like Xiao Wang, with the youngest patient being only 16 years old. Male pattern baldness can be divided into seven levels, at first the hair loss is very hidden, many people may not notice; when attention is drawn, it is often more obvious, the forehead hairline will be “M” shaped backward, or the top of the head hair thinning, becoming “Mediterranean” type Hair loss. If left untreated, the hairline and crown hair loss areas will gradually develop and eventually fuse with each other, leaving only a horseshoe-shaped ring of hair at the seventh level. Since male pattern baldness is getting worse, when should I start treatment for “male pattern baldness”? The answer is, of course, the sooner the better. Individuals with male pattern baldness have hair follicles on the top of their heads that are sensitive to androgens. Hair follicles are the factories that produce hair, and thicker follicles produce thicker, longer hair. Androgens are a large group of hormones that include a variety of hormones, one of which is called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes the thick hair follicles to gradually become thinner and smaller, producing thinner and thinner hair that falls out when it doesn’t grow. If the treatment is timely and the effect of DHT on the hair follicles is blocked, the hair follicles that have just shrunk a bit can quickly return to normal. If you wait until the follicles have become small or even completely destroyed before treating them, they will not return to normal or may only recover to a limited extent. Although treatment may be effective at this time, the final cosmetic result is far less than that of an individual treated early. Therefore if you find yourself with hair loss, the sooner you treat it, the better the results! Many patients mistakenly believe that they can solve the problem by just resting or diet adjustment, or even changing shampoo, not knowing that bad habits only play a very minor role in the development of male pattern baldness, and shampoo cannot play any role at all. If you do not seek medical attention in time, the hair loss process will become more and more serious. Therefore, treatment for male pattern baldness should still be started while it is still early, and the earlier it is started, the better the results will be. Hair loss is a disease and treatment should be symptomatic, do not just listen to the prescriptions and supplements. At present, some tertiary hospitals in China have opened special clinics for hair loss (AGA) in their dermatology departments to provide a regular treatment service for the majority of male pattern baldness patients.
