Presbyopia generally refers to old age vision, commonly known as “presbyopia”. There is no best way to recover from presbyopia, but it can be corrected by glasses and surgery.
1. Eyeglasses: Presbyopia mainly occurs in middle-aged and old-aged patients, mainly because the adjustment ability of the eyes decreases after ageing, so the vision will also decrease. In order to recover from this condition, presbyopia must be corrected by wearing presbyopia glasses, thus helping to improve the symptoms of unclear vision of near objects.
2. Surgical correction: Presbyopia can be corrected surgically by implanting an IOL into the eye. Presbyopia is caused by ciliary muscle hypoplasia, not refractive abnormality, so it can only be corrected by implanting an intraocular lens. IOLs are specially designed optically to allow objects in different locations to appear clearly on the retina, thus restoring vision.
If you experience phakic vision, you can go to a regular eye hospital and follow the doctor’s instructions to choose the appropriate treatment plan.
