Consequences of Abruptly Discontinuing Medoxomil

Medobar is a dopamine receptor supplement used to treat Parkinson’s disease. If a patient suddenly stops taking Medobar during Parkinson’s treatment, it can cause a sharp decrease in dopamine levels in the body, and the patient can experience a rebound in symptoms. For example, the patient’s bradykinesia and limb shaking will suddenly worsen, and in severe cases, patients may become bedridden due to stiffness and inability to move their limbs. Patients with Parkinson’s disease are advised to take Medoxomil orally for a long period of time and on a regular basis, and it is not recommended that patients reduce the dosage or stop taking the medication, as this will lead to the aggravation of the disease. If oral Medoxomil is not effective, it is recommended to add other medications to Medoxomil to improve the symptoms, and it is not recommended to stop or reduce the dosage suddenly.
