Patients with respiratory failure are advised not to get out of bed, as this will increase oxygen consumption, leading to hypoxia and respiratory distress, thus aggravating the condition.

The second situation is intraoperative anesthesia wearing a ventilator is even more unable to get out of bed activities, the patient is on the operating table, can not move freely.
