Formulation and Specifications: Tablets: 0.25g, 0.375g, 0.425g
Indications: Patients with advanced gastric adenocarcinoma or adenocarcinoma of the gastroesophageal junction who have progressed or recurred after receiving at least 2 prior systemic chemotherapies and who are in good general condition at the time of apatinib treatment.
Key points for rational drug use:
1. The drug insert recommended dose is 850 mg once daily. For female patients with physical status score ECOG ≥ 2, after fourth-line chemotherapy, primary cancer site in the stomach not resected, poor bone marrow functional reserve, old and frail or thin, in order to ensure patient safety and improve compliance, the starting dose can be appropriately reduced by starting with 250 mg and increasing the dose after 1 to 2 weeks of administration as appropriate.
2. When Grade 3 to 4 adverse reactions occur during use, it is recommended to suspend the medication and treat the symptoms, and wait until the symptoms are relieved and return to Grade 1 or less, and then reduce the dose.
3. Special attention must be paid to adverse reactions such as elevated blood pressure, proteinuria, hand and foot skin reactions, bleeding, cardiotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, etc. during the use of the drug.
4. Use with drugs that prolong the QTc interval with caution.
