Indications for removable partial dentures

Removable partial dentures are available for an extremely wide range of restorations. From single tooth loss to maxillary or mandibular, only a single tooth with a wide range of defects, even with alveolar bone, jawbone or soft tissue defects can be used. The details are as follows: 1. All kinds of dental defects, especially missing teeth at the free end with alveolar bone, jawbone or soft tissue defects. In particular, missing teeth at the free end refers to the absence of teeth behind the missing teeth; 2, in the healing stage of tooth extraction or transitional denture for growing adolescents; 3, the vertical distance of occlusion is too low due to heavy wear of the jaw surface or multiple missing teeth, and the vertical distance needs to be restored; 4, those who do not accept or cannot tolerate dental implant surgery, or the grinding of dental tissues necessary for the production of fixed denture 5.Patients who need to wear teeth immediately after tooth extraction, or for other special reasons, need to make immediate denture or make-up denture; 6.Patients who are old and weak, and whose general health condition does not allow fixed denture restoration; 7.Patients whose abutment teeth are not more than two degrees loose, whose abutment teeth are not more than 1/2 alveolar bone resorption, and who can also make removable partial denture and splint for fixed loose teeth; 8.Patients with cleft palate who need to close the cleft with abutment.
