Symptoms of plague include high fever, chills, headache, vomiting, shortness of breath, drop in blood pressure, etc. In clinical practice, plague is categorized into glandular, pulmonary, septicemic and other types, which can be dealt with by means of medication.
Bubonic plague is a virulent infectious disease, which is also designated as Class A infectious disease in China, mainly caused by the infection of human body by the bacillus of bubonic plague.
1. Glandular type: Patients with glandular plague usually have swollen lymph nodes and generalized symptoms of plague.
2. Lung type: Lung type plague is the more common type of plague, which may cause severe chest pain, coughing, etc., mostly accompanied by respiratory distress.
3. Septicemia type: the type of plague with the highest mortality rate, with rapid progression of disease, extensive skin bleeding, cyanosis, necrosis and other symptoms.
Plague can be treated with streptomycin, gentamicin and other drugs under the guidance of a doctor, and the principle of early detection and treatment should be adhered to, and plague patients should be isolated to avoid plague infection.
