Yellow spots on baby’s new baby teeth may be formed by early caries lesions, or caused by excessive plaque, but also need to consider dental fluorosis.
1. Early caries lesions: when babies do not do a good job of oral hygiene and cleanliness and lead to caries lesions on milk teeth, it will lead to localized yellow spots on the surface of the teeth, which is an early caries lesion.
2. Plaque buildup: daily diet contains more brown pigment or when there is no good oral hygiene after eating, it will also cause more plaque buildup on the surface of the teeth, which will lead to the appearance of yellow spots.
3. Dental fluorosis: A very small number of infants and young children with yellow spots on the surface of their milk teeth need to consider the possibility of dental fluorosis. When children in the enamel development period intake of more fluorine elements or the existence of congenital body fluoride content is too much, the formation of dental fluorosis, belongs to the common endemic disease.
Abnormal symptoms on the surface of an infant’s teeth should be seen at the dentist’s office and treated as soon as possible.
