Hypoadrenalism should firstly identify the cause of the disease and then treat the cause. The treatment is mainly divided into the treatment of adrenocortical crisis (hormonal drug therapy, rehydration and correction of electrolyte disorders, etc.) and the treatment of chronic hypoadrenocorticism (basic treatment and etiologic treatment). 1. Treatment of adrenal crisis: including intravenous administration of high-dose glucocorticoids (hydrocortisone), rehydration to correct hypovolemia, sodium and potassium supplementation to correct electrolyte disorders, application of hydrocorticosteroids if necessary, and systemic supportive therapy. 2. Chronic hypoadrenalism: (1) Basic treatment: Glucocorticoid replacement therapy: mimic the circadian rhythm of physiologic hormone secretion in the early morning and afternoon respectively, hydrocortisone can be applied, pay attention to the amount of stress when adding. Salt corticosteroid therapy: If the patient feels dizziness, weakness, and lowered blood pressure, it is necessary to add salt corticosteroid, such as 9α fludrocortisone, etc. (2) Etiologic treatment: Those with active tuberculosis should be actively given anti-tuberculosis treatment, such as isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide and so on. If the cause of the disease is autoimmune, you should check whether there are other glands with hypogonadism, and if there are, you need to make corresponding treatment. It is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals for timely consultation and treatment under the guidance of doctors.
