Temperature measurement is relatively accurate when the baby is sleeping. Temperature measurement should be done in a relatively quiet state, not after the baby has eaten, after exercise, or after profuse sweating. Measurement is usually done by axillary thermometry and takes 5 to 10 minutes. When there is sweat in the armpits, the sweat should be wiped dry before taking the temperature, otherwise it will affect the value of the measured temperature. It is generally recommended to measure the temperature when the baby is quiet and awake and not wearing too much clothing, the measured value is closer to the real body temperature. Most babies may not cooperate with temperature measurement, so you can choose to measure the temperature when the baby is sleeping, but be careful not to measure the temperature when the baby is wearing too many clothes or covered with a quilt, and if there is sweat in the armpits, you should dry them to avoid errors.
