Does it matter if you drink very little water in the first trimester?

Drinking very little water in the first trimester of pregnancy may lead to low amniotic fluid, urinary tract infections and other diseases, so it is recommended that pregnant women drink a moderate amount of water.
1. Low amniotic fluid: amniotic fluid in the first trimester of pregnancy mainly comes from the mother’s serum through the fetal membranes into the amniotic cavity of the dialysis fluid, drinking less water leads to the concentration of maternal blood, which further affects the amount of amniotic fluid. Too little amniotic fluid can easily lead to fetal limb compression, fetal distress and other conditions.
2. Urinary tract infection: urine can play a good role in flushing the urethra. Drinking little water for a long time leads to a decrease in the amount of urine, increasing the risk of urinary tract infection, often manifested as frequent urination, urinary urgency, painful urination, and in severe cases, inducing contractions, leading to the occurrence of miscarriage.
It is recommended that patients drink a moderate amount of water, reasonable diet, regular obstetric examination, and timely treatment of any abnormalities.
