The majority of grade 3 breast nodules are benign, so patients are advised to observe them regularly, or consider minimally invasive surgery if the nodules are large. Ultrasound or mammogram can grade the nodule if it is judged to be grade 3, which usually indicates benign, and grade 4 or higher, which may be malignant. For grade 3 nodules, the specific treatment is determined by the size of the nodule and the rate of growth of the nodule within a short period of time. For small nodules, patients may be advised to observe the nodules regularly. For larger nodules, such as 2 cm or more, or nodules that increase in size within a short period of time, minimally invasive treatment may be considered, which usually does not leave a scar on the surface of the breast.
