Slightly hypoechoic breast nodules, i.e., slightly hypoechoic nodules found during breast ultrasound, suggest that there may be calcified nodules, fibrotic nodules, lipomas, cancerous nodules and other problems. 1. Calcified nodule: when the breast has been infected or traumatized in the past, it can cause calcium deposition in the local tissues, and the ultrasound can show hyperechoic, which is a kind of benign nodule and does not need to be treated. 2. Fibrosis nodule: when the reaction of the nodule appears fibrosis after breast surgery, the ultrasound can show as hyperechoic nodule, pay attention to the ultrasound review, no special treatment is needed. 3. Lipoma: when the patient develops lipoma, it is manifested as hyperplasia of fat cells, and the ultrasound shows a slightly hypoechoic nodule with clear boundary, and surgical excision can be considered as a treatment if necessary. 4. Cancer nodule: when the patient suffers from breast cancer, there may also be hypoechoic nodule, and the boundary of the nodule is not clear, and there may be obvious blood flow signal in the nodule, and the aspect ratio is more than equal. The detection of the above ultrasound changes requires prompt surgical treatment. At the same time, inflammatory masses, trauma-induced masses may also show slightly hypoechoic breast. Careful differentiation is needed. For slightly hypoechoic breast nodules, it is recommended to consult the Department of Breast Surgery of a regular hospital for further diagnosis.
