A broken bladder can kill you in a few hours

A ruptured bladder generally has a low probability of causing death. If there are large blood vessels in the ruptured area, the condition will bleed profusely and if not detected in time, death is generally possible within 4-24 hours. If there are no large blood vessels in the bladder rupture, and only urine enters the abdominal cavity, there is a risk of infectious shock, and death may occur if this condition is not treated in time for about two days. For a bladder rupture it is very easy to detect and very easy to diagnose. After bladder rupture there will be a significant decrease in urine volume, there will be abdominal pain, increased heart rate and lower blood pressure, which can be easily detected by doing an ultrasound examination or a post-retention urethral injection test. Early surgical exploration is recommended after bladder rupture to prevent accidents.
