Alanine aminotransferase 80 U/L, serious?

Alanine aminotransferase 80U/L is not serious if it is caused by physiologic factors, but may be more serious if it is caused by disease factors.
1. Physiological factors: If you have had strenuous exercise or consumed a lot of alcohol before the test, the alanine aminotransferase result may be elevated, which is not serious and does not require special treatment.
2. Pathological factors: the normal range of alanine aminotransferase is 0~40U/L. Hepatitis and cirrhosis will result in necrosis of liver cells and elevated enzyme levels in the blood, and when the test result is 80U/L, which is two times higher than the normal range, the situation is more serious and needs to be treated at the earliest possible time.
When alanine aminotransferase is 80U/L, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease under the guidance of a specialized physician and to treat the disease as soon as possible.
