When a pulmonary CT is done, sometimes it will indicate a manifestation of atherosclerosis. At this time, we will see a very obvious high-density calcification in the aorta or coronary arteries on the lung CT, which indicates a manifestation of atherosclerosis. When this manifestation of atherosclerosis appears, we should give the patient further detailed investigation. Especially for the coronary arteries, the possibility of coronary artery stenosis cannot be clarified by ordinary CT imaging, and the patient should be advised to undergo coronary CTA or coronary angiography to clarify the diagnosis. Under CT or DSA with contrast, the degree of stenosis can be clearly demonstrated, which can be of great help in the prognosis and treatment of the patient.
