What antibiotics to take for non-bacterial prostatitis

Inflammatory cells are present in prostate secretions in non-bacterial prostatitis, but the causative organisms cannot be identified, but antibiotics such as levofloxacin can be used empirically, as prescribed by the doctor.
There are many causes of non-bacterial prostatitis, such as infectious factors (mycoplasma, virus, fungal infections, etc.), psychological factors (excessive stress, anxiety, etc.), endocrine factors, local organ abnormalities, and so on. If the cause cannot be identified for the time being, it can be treated empirically with antibiotics, commonly used antibiotics include levofloxacin, norfloxacin, and so on.
If the disease is caused by other infections, it should be treated with appropriate drugs, such as antiviral drugs (e.g. acyclovir) or antifungal drugs (e.g. itraconazole). If it is caused by mental factors, it can be treated with psychological counseling or antidepressant and anxiety medications (e.g., buspirone hydrochloride tablets).
The above are only some of the treatments for non-bacterial prostatitis. It is recommended to actively cooperate with the physician’s examination, as soon as possible to identify the cause of the disease, and then according to the cause of the treatment. Do not blindly use drugs on your own, so as not to delay the condition.
