Hyaluronic acid 150ug/dl is considered high. The normal value of hyaluronic acid is 2-110ug/dl, hyaluronic acid can reflect the function of liver endothelial cells and the degree of damage, high hyaluronic acid is mostly seen in patients with liver fibrosis, cirrhosis and so on. In patients with liver fibrosis, diffuse extracellular matrix (especially collagen) is excessively deposited in the liver, resulting in abnormal proliferation of connective tissue in the liver, and hyaluronic acid is the main component of the extracellular matrix of proliferating cells and migrating cells, so the level of hyaluronic acid is elevated in patients with liver fibrosis. Capillarization of hepatic blood sinusoids occurs in cirrhosis, and hyaluronic acid is widely present in the extracellular interstitium, which is taken up and degraded by hepatic blood sinusoidal cells in a specific receptor-mediated manner, i.e., blood hyaluronic acid is elevated in cirrhosis. If the patient has high hyaluronic acid, he should consult a doctor in time and undergo examination according to the doctor’s instructions to make a clear diagnosis so as not to delay the condition.
