There is no such thing as the best medicine for coughing after a cold. Generally, comprehensive treatment is needed, including antiviral, anti-infective, cough and phlegm medication orally or nebulizer treatment; for common light colds, pay attention to rest and drink plenty of fluids, which do not require treatment.
