What happens when an enlarged anal papilla becomes cancerous?

Anal papilla hypertrophy cancer is the enlargement and cancerous transformation of the anal papillae, which can eventually develop into anal cancer and so on.
Anal papilla hypertrophy is a localized proliferative inflammatory change caused by inflammatory stimulation of anal papilla. Its clinical features mainly include slow onset, foreign body sensation in the anal canal, worm walking sensation, or the feeling of incomplete defecation. In the acute stage, the anal papilla hypertrophy is congested with blood, burning and stinging pain, and the hypertrophied papilla with a long tip can be detached from the anus, which affects the normal life, study and work of the patients.
Further development of anal papillary hypertrophy can become anal papillary fibroma, and there is a risk of cancer. Its cancerous transformation can form squamous cell carcinoma or adenocarcinoma, i.e. anal cancer.
If there is any discomfort or prolapse of swelling in the anus, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for diagnosis and treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
