What’s with the farting?

Farting all the time may be a normal physiological reaction (such as eating too much gas-producing food), or it may be a pathologic factor, such as gastrointestinal dysfunction, indigestion and so on. The details are as follows: 1. Physiological factors: after normal eating, the human body will produce a certain amount of gas after the food is decomposed by the stomach and absorbed and utilized by the small intestine, thus discharging it, which is a normal physiological phenomenon and does not require much intervention. For eating too much gas-producing food, such as starch, soy, milk, etc. caused by farting too much, can reduce the taking of such food. 2. Pathological factors: If there is excessive farting or farting too much odor, the common cause is digestive system diseases, such as gastroenteritis, gastrointestinal dysfunction, dyspepsia and so on. (1) Gastrointestinal dysfunction: intestinal dysfunction due to intestinal flora imbalance or eating spicy and irritating food leads to intestinal flatulence and increased exhaust, Bacillus licheniformis can be given to regulate intestinal flora imbalance and Trimethoprim maleate to regulate gastrointestinal function. (2) Dyspepsia: patients may have incomplete digestion of food due to insufficient secretion of digestive enzymes, and the intestinal tract interacts with bacteria after food intake and produces gas, causing increased farting; digestive enzymes can be given to promote digestion, and mosapride can be given to promote gastrointestinal peristalsis. Farting is a normal physiological phenomenon, but farting too much or too smelly is not normal, if long-term farting is too much need to go to the hospital in time, clear the cause of the disease, symptomatic, cause-specific treatment, and do not blindly take medication, so as not to delay the condition.
