It is suitable for yin deficiency and hot flashes, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping sweating after waking up), lumbar and knee pain and weakness, blood deficiency and atrophy, leakage (excessive menstrual flow or dripping), and subluxation of the bands. There is no evidence to suggest that turtle shell gelatin can treat gout.
This medicine needs to be melted and taken. Note that Goujia is contraindicated for people with cold spleen and stomach, and should be taken with caution by pregnant women.
